Storage
Freeze-Dried Candy Storage
Freeze-dried candy is highly sensitive to moisture and air exposure.
✅ Best Practices:
- Use upright containers - glass jars with tight lids, Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers, or vacuum-sealed bags.
- Store in cool, dry place, away from sunlight and humidity (pantry or cupboard).
- Avoid refrigeration, as it can introduce moisture when taken out and exposed to warmer air.
❌ Avoid:
- Storing in open or loosely sealed packaging.
- Exposure to humid environments can cause the candy to become sticky and/or chewy.
It is best to try and consume the freeze dried candy within 2-3 days and ensure it is stored appropriately.
Traditional Candy (Hard Candy, Gummies, etc.)
✅ Hard Candy:
- Air tight containers or resealable plastic bags.
- Cool dry place 15–21°C.
✅ Gummies & Chewy Candy:
- Cool, dry place, but not too dry (can harden).
- Tightly sealed to prevent drying out or becoming sticky.
- Refrigeration is okay in hot climates, but keep in a tightly sealed container to avoid moisture.
Chocolate
✅ Best Conditions:
- Cool, dry place at around 18–21°C.
- Low humidity (below 50% RH).
- Store in original packaging, or tight foil and into a tightly sealed container.
⚠️ If Refrigeration Is Necessary for Chocolate (hot climates):
- Wrap in plastic wrap or foil then put into airtight container to avoid condensation.
- When removing from fridge, allow it to come to room temperature before unwrapping to avoid moisture on the surface (which causes “sugar bloom”).
Xylitol and Pets
Xylitol is extremely toxic to pets, especially dogs, and should always be kept out of their reach. Here's a breakdown of the key information:
🐶 Why is Xylitol Dangerous for Dogs?
- Rapid Insulin release - Dogs' pancreas mistakes xylitol for real sugar, triggering a massive insulin release.
- This causes a sudden drop in blood sugar (hypoglycemia) — which can be life-threatening in as little as 10–60 minutes after ingestion.
Please do not give any sweets designed for only humans to your dog.
Some of our products contain xylitol so please ensure that you do not share any of the sweets with your Dog. Your dog is only allowed to have what we have for sale on the Dog Friendly page.
🐱 What About Cats?
- Cats are generally less susceptible, mostly because they’re less likely to eat sweets.
- However it is best to avoid exposing any pet to xylitol.

Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional transit time for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Standard Shipping method 3-7 business working days.
Express Shipping method 2-3 business working days.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during holidays or unforeseen events.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.
International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside of Australia.

Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we offer the following refund policy:
Returns
You may request a return or refund within 7 days of your purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
- Any item that has been opened
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company
- Contact your bank

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, contact us at hello@bsweetaf.com.au

Candy during transit
Please be ensured we take the best care to ensure your goodies are packed safely and securely. However, we cannot control Australia Post.
